Dani can work best at the evening or at night - this habit comes from university, and he tries to give it up. His main tool is the 3D printer - as the picture shows.
His inspiration comes from science - the goal of his own design brand is to combine the science and engineering knowledge with the art of the jewels.
He never drinks coffee and nor really likes tea - prefers a good strong beer to spin up!
Dani works on several different projects, so if there is a gap in one of it he just starts work with another, so he can get new and fresh aspect again. He's constantly listening to music: spotify, youtube or audiobooks, podcasts...
He really could be happy with a new SLS printer - it could make a big progress for his workroom.

CROWN / JEWELS
auction for children
The Art Jewelry Night of Budapest organizes a charity auction with the support of FISE.
Following the very successful Italian initiative, the “Crown Jewels Funding Italy” & portuguese-spanish JEWELLERS IN AuCTION an online auction will be launched as a continuation „KORONA / ÉKSZER - aukció a gyermekekért” (CROWN / JEWELS - auction for children) during which we auction the works offered by contemporary jewelry designers.
Our goal is to improve the living conditions of children who suffer from Covid-19 pandemic situation even more. From the proceeds, we intend to support three civil foundations and associations working with children who can provide targeted assistance to those in need through food, educational tools or integration efforts.
100% of the donations goes to the institutions!

WHO WE SUPPORT

The “Ablak a padra” (Window to the Bench) campaign was launched by the Láncreakció (Chain Reaction), a joint program team of the Civil Kollégium Alapítvány (Civil College Foundation) and the Esély Labor Egyesület (Chance Labor Association), in partnership with the Láthatatlan Tanoda (Invisible School) and the “aHang” platform. The aim of the action is to provide digital tools to disadvantaged children who recently became excluded from distance education due to lack of proper machines and internet access through schools and community organizers. The diverse activities of the “Igazgyöngy Alapítvány” (True Pearl Foundation) are primarily aimed at children and young people living on the periphery. Their long-term mission includes creating opportunities, catching up, and educating for independence. The fundraising campaign, “Még egy falat” (One more morsel) was launched by the Civil Kollégium Alapítvány (Civil College Foundation) and the Esély Labor Egyesület (Chance Labor Association), and the “aHang” campaign platform to help those living in segregation especially affected by the outcome of pandemic. Food and cleaning products purchased from the money received are delivered to 12 municipalities through local community organizers, which is also a huge help to families raising children because only a bowl of food a day can be given free access to disadvantaged children by closing schools. https://ahang.hu/megegyfalat/

MEAT Design Festival ( http://www.meatdesign.cz/en/ ) is an event that's going to be held from 22. 11. 2019. to 24. 11. 2019. in the Czech Republic's second-largest city, Ostrava. While MEAT is a professional design fair, which - in addition to serving as a marketplace - offers many programmes related to the trade itself and an event to discuss current topics in the field of design. FISE (Studio of Young Designers Association), as the leading design association in Hungary, has been an active participant of MEAT for three years now.

This year, the guests of MEAT Design Festival will be able to see our exhibition called "The true history of design", which has been a great success at Design Week Budapest 2019.

International Multi-disciplinary Student Work Competition

The fifth annual 2019 Meat Design Festival in Ostrava will introduce a multi-disciplinary student work competition focusing on the quality of work presentation. Students from different schools, disciplines and age-groups will present their school projects. They will pit their strength against each other in the ability to convey the idea of their work in a limited format. We want the competition to raise awareness of the fact that not only the product design but also its presentation is crucial on the road to success.
Of course, in practice, the packaging design and furniture design do not usually compete side-by-side. The trend is rather to cooperate; nonetheless, whatever is represented, the communication of the idea is one of the fundamental tasks of the designer, and due attention should be paid to this skill.

That’s why we announce the Meat Design Academy Award for the best-presented design product. The aim is to encourage students to be interested in this skill and to create a platform for communication among young talents and companies, and for establishing new collaborations and products.

The panel will be chaired by a prominent personality of Czech design and consist of a representative organizer of Meat Design as well as representatives of partner companies.

The competition will consist of two rounds. Of all works submitted, eight will be selected, and these will be printed and presented at Meat Design 2019 in Dolní oblast Vítkovice in
Ostrava (CZ). The panel will then choose the winning work.

Terms of Submission
• applicants must fill out a Google form including all
mandatory attachments by 1 November 2019
• application, annotation and competition poster
must be uploaded in English
• B1 poster in electronic form (print quality)
• one reference picture of the work
• annotation of maximum 1000 characters

The entire presentation of the student project will be in English – the poster as well as the annotation.

Each candidate must complete and hand in the electronic submission form including all mandatory attachments by 1 November 2019:
B1 poster in electronic form,

- meghatározott anyagok és eszközök használata,
- a teljes folyamat nyilvános.

- az alkotófolyamat újszerű szervezése,
- versengés helyett az együttműködés lehetőségeinek vizsgálata,
- a résztvevők folyamatos visszajelzései.

A tapasztalatokat és eredményeket az esemény zárásaként nyilvános beszélgetésen ismerheti meg a közönség szombat délután.
