"29 ACCESSORIES"
The METU Jewelry and Accessories Specialist focuses on items that are directly related to the body or clothing.
METU University focuses on creating “MyBrand,” which helps students take the first steps toward a unique, diverse, and quality brand.
The specialization is unique in international comparison, combining traditional metal and leather processing methods. Through continuous experimentation, students can master the use of alternative, experimental raw materials, traditional and contemporary technologies.
The exhibition presents the learning process from the first structural experiments to the dissertations. A wide range of accessories (e.g. jewelry, bags, shoes, gloves, etc.) that can also be worn as clothing accessories are on display. We have selected 29 students from the last 4 years to highlight the work of the specialization.
