This artwork is an interactive visualization on a semi-transparent texture, where the style of the visualization is determined by the noise level in the exhibition hall.
The main message of this exhibition is to notice the world, to lock ourselves into a safe bubble, where the noises of the outside world cannot get in. Creating a safe calm space where we can escape at any time.
The main question of the exhibition is: does this bubble protect or generate loneliness and
alienation?l

Indonesian inventions - exhibition of Krisztina Bogó

Opening: 25.08.2020. 6PM

The exhibition will be opened by Dus Polett, a cultural expert of Indonesia
At the opening, the “Cokekan” gamelan formation will play traditional Indonesian instruments.

Krisztina Bogó spent 2 years in Indonesia with Darmasiswa scholarship, where she studied traditional Indonesian arts. such as shadow puppetry, batik and dance. Her path was led by getting to know te Indonesian culture, to learn, to explore, towards new techniques, new landscapes and new friends. This exhibition is a kind of imprint of these 2 years, in wich artworks and everyday life is closely interwined.The exhibited material consists of artwork, documentation, inspirations and recent Indonesia themed works made since her homecoming.
During the exhibition period Krisztina will lead a guided tour and gives a travelouge presentation with screening.

The name FAIRY-TALE worlds refers to the fact that each fairy tale guides us into a different world. It's like a trip to a fantasy country where anything can happen. Among the exhibited works, there are tales for both younger and older children. We wish you a happy adventure for all those who want to go on adventure !!!

About the artist:
Previously (until 2014) she was primarily engaged
in advertising graphics, and after a few years of ailment,
she gradually switched to illustration work (from 2017).

The contrast between the pencil drawing and
the painting solutions plays an important role in his illustrations.
Its use of color is based primarily on the use of simultaneous contrast.
Occasionally uses collage techniques for Acryl images.

munkaPAD rovatunkban bemutatjuk hol és hogyan dolgoznak tagjaink, elmesélik és megmutatják hol lesz az ötletből terv, a tervből tárgy, termék, alkotás, és ehhez a folyamathoz mi minden egyéb társul még.

Mikor tudsz a legjobban dolgozni? Melyik napszak a legtermékenyebb számodra?
- Ha szabadkézzel rajzolok vagy festek akkor természetes fényben szeretek dolgozni. A műfény sok szempontból problémás. Számítógéppel a nap bármely szakában problémamentesen lehet dolgozni, de sokszor leginkább az esti, éjszakai órákban tudok elmélyülni a munkában.

Melyik a tervezés-kivitelezés során legtöbbet használt tárgyad
- A számítógép mellett rajzasztalon és festőállványon dolgozom.

Mi inspirál leginkább?
- A vágy, hogy minél jobb munkát csináljak, jobbat a korábbiaknál. Új technikák és megoldások kipróbálása, új utak keresése is inspirál. És természetesen más művészek alkotásai is.

Melyik serkentőszer csúszik jobban munka mellé: kávé vagy tea? Esetleg rum?
- Mióta nem ihatok tejet, csak vizet iszom.

Hogyan és mi által tudsz továbblendülni, ha elakadtál egy folyamat során?
- Erre nincs bevált módszer, stratégia. Agyalok a problémán és előbb-utóbb megszületik a megoldás, de előfordul, hogy a problémára való koncentrálás nélkül, váratlanul jön az ötlet, akár úszás vagy fogmosás közben. Szerencsés, ha sok idő van egy feladatra.

Hallgatsz-e zenét, esetleg rádiót munka közben? Ha igen, mit? Ha nem, akkor? 
- Igen, hallgatok zenét munka közben, bár már nem olyan gyakran, mint fiatalkén. Elég sokféle zenét hallgatok, bár az utóbbi években - ha már TV is van a közelemben - gyakran próbálok értelmes, hallgatható TV műsorokat keresni, de ez nem mindig sikerül. Persze időnként, bizonyos munkafázisokban csendre van szükségem.

Mi hiányzik leginkább az asztalodról, hogy jobban menjen a munka? Minek örülnél igazán?
- Tulajdonképpen megvan minden szükséges eszközöm a munkához. Bár ha jobban belegondolok, akkor egy A3-as szkenner jól jönne.
