BRIDGE Exhibition of the artists of the FISE Ötvös Camp in Mátranovák and the Károly Kós Art High School
Opening: Wednesday, February 23, 2022, 6 p.m.
The exhibition will be opened by: Goldsmith Fanni and Dávid Attila Norbert goldsmiths
It is open until March 11, 2022, Monday through Friday from 1 to 6 p.m.
The goldsmith's camp of FISE in Mátranovák has been operating for eleven years, which was created to provide a meeting place for the creators working in the profession, which provides an opportunity to work together, learn from each other, develop professional life after school, and strengthen the goldsmith community.
The Károly Kós Art High School, its teachers and students came to Mátra from Debrecen for the fifth time this year. The two camps have always followed one another, so a personal meeting between the adult creators and the students from Debrecen has not yet taken place.
During the epidemic, the role of human relations and communities became more important. The goldsmiths of FISE also want to expand their professional community, get to know the younger generation.
That is why the theme of the 2021 camp was the BRIDGE. We asked the creators to make objects for Debrecen students. We built one of the pillars of the bridge in the FISE Ötvös camp and they made objects in response to these objects, thus creating the other pillar.
At this exhibition, the objects will be placed side by side and at the opening they will finally have the opportunity to meet the creators of the two camps in person. THE BRIDGE is created.
Tóth Zoltán, ötvösművész válaszai. Villámkérdéseket tettünk fel néhány tagunknak, hogy lássuk/lássátok, mi minden volt tavaly!
1. Mi volt számodra a 2015-ös év legpozitívabb élménye?
Az Ékszerek Éjszakája Budapest rendezvény nagyszerű volt. Remek pozitív pörgés volt a részvétel. Jól meghatározható irány, pont, "részcél" volt.
2. És mi volt a legnagyobb bosszúsága?
Természetesen voltak bosszantó dolgok, de nem tudom eldönteni melyik volt a "leg". A bosszantó, de már elmúlt dolgok egyébként is súlytalanok lesznek.
3. Mi volt a leginspirálóbb dolog, ami 2015-ben történt Veled?
Egy privát, de értő megrendelő. Sok szempontból jókor talált meg. Az ékszer még készül.
4. Mi okozta a legnagyobb meglepetést az elmúlt év során?
Itt is nehéz a leget megtalálni. Bizonyára a sokféle elfogultság is befolyásol, de a "KONTAKT" pályázat fődíja sokat jelent(ett).
5. Milyen újdonságot próbáltál ki az elmúlt egy év során, és milyen tapasztalatot szereztél általa?
Úszva jutottam el egy szigetre.
6. Fogadalom 2016- ra / üzenet magadnak és másoknak a következő évre:
Összeszedettség, gyorsabb döntéshozás.

We can follow the results of the experiments of the last seven years through the exhibits of jewelry designer Nóra Tengely. The anchor chain is one of the simplest jewelry raw materials with its puritanism, but with its special technique, the creator is able to show its diversity in material and meaning in countless qualities.
The exhibition is based on the FISE Award awarded by 2020 Budapest Jewelry Week.

Wearable objects of Rita are usually reflecting on strong personal emotions, specific periods or particular points of her life. The exhibition entitled I follow rivers is dealing with treasured or even rusted pieces of woods of her life, exploring her roots and emotional heritage, analizing and talking about looses and winnings according to her present life. Exploding into micro pieces to be able to create new structures from it.
“Almost every material showed it's new face for me, during the work. Monotonity of the process brought me pleasure, like practicing yoga until you can not go further. Then take a rest and observe.
I let my rivers under my skin to lead my way.”

Archetypes
Biró Zsófia Gizella jewelry designer Archetypes c. his solo exhibition is a continuation of the self-knowledge works of previous years.
This year’s jewelry series was inspired by 12 female archetypes. These characters of ancient origin come from the subconscious and are characteristic of all people. Different characters can become stronger in us at each stage of life. The jewelry on display can be linked to these personality types.
Once again, the designer used a special material: the metal structures used as the raw material for the jewelry were created in individual experiments. The pierced surfaces and interesting textures hide a mysterious shadow for visitors.
We welcome all those interested to the opening, where they can map out the characteristics of themselves and their loved ones!

Each life stage may enhance different characteristics. The jewels on display at the exhibition are related to these personality types.
The designer artist used special materials again: the metal structures that provide the basis of the jewels are the results of numerous experiments. Mysterious shadows are hidden within the openwork surfaces and textures.

The theme of the exhibition, ZOOM, is jewellery and the built environment. What kind of jewellery is inspired by the city’s image, geometry, structure, texture and also how it is valued, how it gives a theme to the background which also has an affect back on the jewellery.
The jewelleries in this new constellation and with a specific background form a new unit, a relief or sculpture. The meaning of jewellery expands. It's not just wearable jewellery, it's about jewellery as a piece of art, an object, an interior design element, a detail of a building. Or an architectural gesture that is reinterpreted in an object, jewellery. The substrate in this case is not the person, but the built environment. Collages and images are created, of which jewellery is an integral part.
